My problem:

*Unknown msisdn*

Hello, i'm french, but i will try to speak in english.

A few times ago, I have tested the beta version of Opera (I think 7.xx) and it worked very well, now with the version 8 I have this message if I go to internet (any page of internet):

The customer service can't help me of course , I have try to install the old version but the date limit is exceeded, the name of the page which appears is "msisdn inconnu" (unkown msisdn), I have found the MSISDN is the number of the mobile... I have not problem with PocketIE. (msisdn = Mobile Station International ISDN Number)

Since I have try the beta version, I have change my ROM, the problem can come from the ROM?

PS: When I connect my computeur with HTC USB Modem I have the same message when i go to a page..

What APN (Access Point Name) are you using. Is it Internet or WAP ?

If you are using a WAP APN then are you able to include the proxy server address into the Opera settings ? That might work.

I have a "WAP APN", why can I include a Proxy server in the Opera settings ?

When I test with the "WEB APN" it work but I have "illimited WAP" and only the "WAP APN" it's illimited.. If I want to use PIE, I use a Proxy WAP (10.0.0.10:9201) and it work.

I think Opera use the "Internet connection", so I have "inversed" the two connection (GPRS connection in WAP connection and Proxy in Internet Connection), but it show me the same message, I think Opera use the GPRS connection and he unaware of the connections configured in the "data connections".

When I use the USB HTC Modem, how can I put my WAP Proxy ? I have try to put the proxy (10.0.0.10:9201) in the Internet Explorer or Maxthon Options, but I obtain an error message..

If Opera defaults to the Internet connection then you could try the following.

1 Create a GPRS (WAP) connection with 'Connects to: Work Connection'

2 Attach the GPRS connection to the Internet connection.

3 Create proxy connection with 'Connects from: Work' and 'Connects to: The Internet'. Try using proxy address 10.0.0.10:8080 (or 10.0.0.10:80) and Type=HTTP.

This will use the proxy connection with the phones Internet connection but I don't know if it will fix the problem with opera.

I have tryed this solution, but I have always the same message, but when I choose Socks4 or Socks5 in Proxy Type, I can't connect but I have not the same error message.
