Guest Disco Stu Posted October 31, 2005 Report Posted October 31, 2005 In today's MediaGuardian, an interview by Stephen Armstrong with the producers of the new "Broken News" comedy series on BBC2 @ 9.30 tonight. Although sometimes it seems that those spoofing the news can never keep up with the farce of real news coverage. This interview took place in a week when wreaths were laid beside a dead chicken in Liverpool after it was mistaken for a human foetus and a spillage of lard caused cars to skid along 25 miles of the M74. How do you write funnier than that ! ;)
Guest Pondrew Posted October 31, 2005 Report Posted October 31, 2005 Ok, so these people who were stupid enough to lay wreaths for a dead chicken thinking it was a human foetus didn't find it strange such would not only be LEFT ON A PAVEMENT but STILL THERE for them to lay their wreathes beside?!
Guest Posted October 31, 2005 Report Posted October 31, 2005 Anyone watch the program? - OUTSTANDING. So on the ball. Hard to tell if it was real or comedy at times. Bring on next weeks episode!

That is exactly what it is like trying to get the English football results in your Spanish hotel room. Anyone see Bill Turnbull & Sian Williams pretending they got the joke this morning ?
