New smartphone user - 2 questions

Hi everyone,

I just bought an imate spm5, and since it's my first MS smartphone, I have a couple of questions:

- is there a thread/link that talks about which software is or isn't compatible with windows mobile 2005 smartphone? I've found a bunch of them taht talk about the PPC edition of WM2005, but none about the smartphone edition, and it would be nice to know what to buy/download as far as compatibility goes.

- I know this has been talked about in other posts, and believe, I searched, but all the answers are complicated/unclear. Basically, I have 3 email accounts: hotmail, gmail and my own web sever host's (netfirms). What is the easiest way of receiving all of those accounts on my smartphone and being able to read/write/delete email? I dont work in a company, so MS excange is not an option for me. What program/procedure should I use?
