Guest Guv01 Posted November 1, 2005 Report Posted November 1, 2005 Hi, I had a problem with my Orange SPV M2000, when I'd receive a call i couldn't here the other person as others have already reported elsewhere. So I rang Orange who changed the phone the next day, Only the phone they changed it for had Windows media player 9 on it, The original one i had, had version 10 on it, so back to Orange and asked the about this.... they were addiment that no version of the m2000 has ever been shipped with version 10 on it!!!!!! I'm just wonering if anyone out there has received a m2000 with version 10 on it, and are the Idiots at Orange Customer Services and the Teck dept. a bunch of liars!?!?!?! :x
Guest Pondrew Posted November 1, 2005 Report Posted November 1, 2005 There have long been reports of SPV M2000s shipped with an Orange 1.40 rom which includes Windows Media Player 10. I expect you were lucky enough to have one of those, problem is, Orange never released the update which leaves most owners without...
Guest Guv01 Posted November 1, 2005 Report Posted November 1, 2005 There is some sort of rom update on the orange website www.orange.co.uk/download/m2000.... Don't know what it does like... and the person i spoke to from Customer services said there wasn't a update! Surely Orange know there are m2000s with Windows Media Plaer 10 on it.... I'm not so lucky now... the exchanged it for one with version 9 on it! Should tell them to send me it back... after all I did have to pay £250 for it!
Guest srs11 Posted November 6, 2005 Report Posted November 6, 2005 My original m2000 had player 10 on it, managed to smash the screen and the replacement has player 9 on. It's pants in comparison, I had got used to using the auto synch features with my desktop. Is there no way of updating?
