A few queries reference WiFI on the move on my SP5

Hello,

I just got my SP5 and i have successfully connected it to my wireless broadband router at home and have been surfing and using Pocket MSN to great effect.

I have a few questions though as past what ive done i know nothing :

If i connect to my home broadband router and surf the net, am i right in thinking it uses up my 5MB download limit i get from O2?

Also, how do i go about using HOT SPOTS out and about (say, MAcdonalds). do i need to sign up for something or do i just connect to "any avaialble network"

wifi connection, at home is your's to abuse, it does not touch the networks bundles, but make sure you don't accidently fall over onto 3g/gprs!

hotspots are all different, some you pre-pay buying a code on a card! others you try to use, get a 'give us some money' page when you try to browse.
