What Orange have offered...

Further to my post here:

First post: Obscene bills, new tariffs, new problems

...I have taken the plunge and upgraded my phone and contract. This is the deal what the Orange rep has promised me he'll phone me with when released...

SPV c600 (upon release)

Motorola H700 Bluetooth Headset (upon release)

1000 Xnet Anytime minutes

1000 text messages per month

Free insurance

Free voicemail

All coming in at £75/month.

Is this a good enough deal? Has anyone got anything better? £75 seems expensive still, but I don't know; it might be very good. I know I won't go over that anyway.

Is there anything else I should be fleecing Orange for? Accessories? Money off (was offered £60 credit or 12 months free insurance - no brainer really). I want them to work hard to try and keep me whilst making the sure I don't miss a trick with what I can get. Oh the joys of greed.

Has anyone been able to get a similar/better deal?

Thanks to all who take the time to read and reply

-Steve.

EDIT: Please move to Smartphone Main forum if necessary - apologies this is in the wrong place.

Ask them to price match to 3. They will say they cant. So say you want to be disconnected and then they will suddenly "find a new contract" that is as good as 3's for cheaper. Normally works.

By the time Orange release the C600, taking inflation into account, you will probably have a good deal.

Mind you, a loaf of bread might be about £113.50 by then and a daily paper about £87.00

ROTFLMAO

Nice one mate.

The future's bright, The Future's... well, er, about twenty years away where Orange is concerned.
