Status of SMS Counters

I posted about twenty minutes ago requesting a link to an SMS counter and minutes counter. After extensive archive searching, I found that Cingular customers can dial: *646# and get an sms with minutes used.

This does NOT, however include how many txts were sent.

I've read tons of posts asking for an SMS counter. I've seen references to Imeter, which apparently doesn't work on WM2003.

Almost every 'what programs we need for smartphones' post includes a request for an SMS counter.

If you know ANYTHING about software for SMS counting, post it. If you're developing something for this purpose, post it.

Let's figure out if there's anything out there that works.

The thing is there are a few apps that lots of people seem to want (this is one, but TV remote controls and phone call recorders are probably the other big ones)

But none of the people that want them are stepping up and CREATING them, they all just say things like "it cant be that hard" and "it must be possible if you can do XYZ"

I suspect that all of these apps would already exist if they were feasible - the fact that they dont exist probably means they cant be done.

Read up on it and learn to write apps. Charge $1 for it and you'll make $100s if not $1000s
