T-Mobile MDA Vario

Received my new k-jam from T-Mobile UK today and its running nicely. I've seen some posts about wiping out files in the extended rom and I was thinking of doing this to speed things up a little and get rid of the t-mobile customisations, but the guides on the net show different files than what I have. Has anyone here already removed the t-mobile customisations from the UK k-jams?

Are there any that you should leave on? This is whats in my extended rom atm:

Out of interest how do you rate the look of this version, I'm not 100% sure having seen some of the net pictures. It seems to look grey and maybe not quite as stylish as the K-Jam or QTEK. I am thinkinking of ordering the vario 2morow and would appreciate your thoughts...

I like it. The front fascia has a brushed metal look. The rest of the silver plastic is the same as found on the Orange SPV phones. The pictures of the K-jam appear 'brighter' than the T-Mobile device, so in that way perhaps your feelings are right. But the Vario isn't ugly and when the screen is on that's all you're concentraing on anyway! ;)

I do hate T-mobiles 'pink' graphics though - changed the today screen straight away.

Cheers for that, like i say on some of the pictures the phone looks to be grey such as here Picture 1, but then on others it does look more silvery like here Pic 2. Im guessing from your description that the second picture is more realistic so i may just order one in the morning.
