i need some help with c500

i heard there was an update for an spvc500 so that you can put mp3 as ringtones. can someone give a link to it and explain to me how to install it? ;)

Basically go to the Orange website, Help & Support, choose your phone, find the link for the software update. You're looking for ROM version 4.2.1.4 which you will download to your PC.

Connect phone to PC and follow the instructions which are on the website and also included in the installer software, which you run from the PC.

Make sure you have synced with Outlook and copied anything you want to keep from the phone's My Documents folder. Also be sure that the phone battery is fully charged before you start, that your firewall is disabled and don't use a USB hub to connect the phone.

When everything is complete and the phone is up-and-running, do a hard reset. Instructions are pinned at the top of the Typhoon section.

What's your current firmware?

How can I find out what version of firmware I have on my C500

Look in Settings, About and scroll down to ROM update versions : Operator
