Guest akeller718 Posted November 4, 2005 Report Posted November 4, 2005 I just recently got a pair of bluetooth headphones so I can listen to mp3's on my audiovox smt5600. When I set the headphones into pairing mode and search for devices on my phone, my phone finds the headphones. It asks for the passcode- which I have had success both leaving blank and entering '0000'- and then says that I have successfully connected with the device. My headphones even go out of pairing mode (rapid flashing blue light) into normal mode (slow flashing blue light). However no matter what I try, I can't get my phone to transmit sound to the headphones! Also, when I try to hit 'set as hands free device' on my phone when I have the wireless headphones in my device list selected, the option is ghosted out. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
Guest dc7blue Posted November 6, 2005 Report Posted November 6, 2005 i have the same problem my guess is that you can't pair them until our roms allow us to select a profile that will enable fulltime bluetooth connection to the headphones don't worry, i wasted a 100bucks on those too
Guest smeg36 Posted November 6, 2005 Report Posted November 6, 2005 The SMT doesn't have the necessary profile (called AD2P of something like that) for bluetooth headphones. Sorry, it won't work.
Guest sweetboy02125 Posted November 7, 2005 Report Posted November 7, 2005 it works man. You guys dun no how da pair with BT headset? My 5600 works with 2 BT headsets i have bought.
Guest smeg36 Posted November 7, 2005 Report Posted November 7, 2005 There is a huge difference between bluetooth headPHONES and a bluetooth headSET. They are trying to get bluetooth headphones working, not a bluetooth headset.
