Forgotten SPVC550 device password

I changed my decive password last night and typed it in twice then pressed ok but when I went to unlock the phone it said "Invalid password". I must have typed the password wrong twice when I changed it!

I know it sounds really stupid but is there any way to get the phone unlocked?

1 Switch phone off

2 Hold down both soft keys (top left and top right buttons)

3 Press power button once and keep the soft keys pressed down.

You should then get a menu asking you to press 0 to reset ;)
