App-unlocking and WM2003

Hi all,

I have just upgraded to WM 2003 and I cannot install applications - as they are not signed... blah-blah-blah. :evil:

I figured out that I need to app-unlock it. I tried the way with Orange through GPRS - didn't work coz I need to register with Orange first. I tried to register my device with ActionRegister.ARM.cab but unsuccessfully - it start and exist immediately. :shock: :?:

I tried to downgrade back to 2002 (flashing BEN6-0630-012.img) and use this program again - same result. Strange thing is that I see quicky the label "Lock: Not Running". In the how-to here it should be like "Lock: Running". Perhaps, it's irrelevant.

I tried also tools Alphaflux Unlock.CAB - didn't work saying that cannot install this CAB. I tried something like DisableCert.exe but it didn't solve the problem (looks like it's only for issues of synching with Exchange server).

Any ideas? :roll: :??:

Hi,

I've just hard reset my 200 which was running an unlocked 2003, and assumed I'd have to unlock it again, alphaflux failed to install, but to my suprise the apps I wanted installed, message, "this is not digitally signed" carry on yes/no, hit yes and away they went.

That is odd... I recently flashed my phone with WM2003 (too many issues with WMP in Smartphone 2002) and the phone was both application and SIM unlocked. Which WM2003 ROM are you using?

2003 ROMs are not application locked asthe original ROM they were ripped from was not locked.
