(I know this forum is for smartphones but i thought id get a better response in here also i had the same problem with my c500 just got a different error but on the same lines,i hope somebody can help)

Im trying to get my k-jam working on orange payg ,Im using the Cab file off of the imate website which ive installed but when i go and try and connect it comes up with

'Cannot connect for an unknown reason.To check your connection setting.if the problem continues reset your device according to your manufactures documentation and try again'

Ive reset the ppc but still the same........Ive tried a few differnt orange payg cabs but all say the same error.

Ive tried 2 payg sims that ive got .I also had the problem with my imate jam for say the last 3 months or so but before that it worked fine using the can=b that im using on the k-jam.

Ive rang orange who say that there is mms and GPRS enabled on my account,I can get it to work with o2 ut just not orange,as anyone got theres working on orange payg without problems?

Thanks

I've got an Orange PAYG SIM working fine in a Jam at the moment, if you PM me tomorrow (Sunday), I can go through the settings to compare and see if there's obvious problem, if this helps.

Okay, here goes (on the Jam, mybe it's different on the kJam):

Press Start -> settings -> connections -> connections.

Then after it's inspected your settings, choose add new connection (or manage existing setting to compare with what you've got).

Give it a name (on mine, Orange PAYG).

Select a modem - on mine, cellular line (GPRS)

Next ->

Access point name = orangeinternet

Next -> leave everything else blank

Finish, and you're done.

What settings have you got?
