Guest sjalloq Posted November 6, 2005 Report Posted November 6, 2005 Hi there, unless I'm being silly here, I can't get my SP5 to recognise any of the WAV or MP3 files I store on the phone. I've tried storing them in the My Sounds directory and even copied them into the Windows main folder where all the default tones are kept. Still nothing appearing when I go into settings. Do I have to set some registry key or something first? I can't find anything relevant using the search engine. Thanks.
Guest Newchurch Posted November 6, 2005 Report Posted November 6, 2005 Hi, copy the sounds into \Application Data\Sounds - and they appear in the sound settings. Greetings, Peter

Guest UniqueTouch Posted November 6, 2005 Report Posted November 6, 2005 Ah OK, thanks a lot. Is it also possible to store them on the storage card too? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yes...create a folder called "My Documents" on your storage card and placed them in there (you CANNOT put them in subfolders under the My Documents because the phone won't see them).
