Guest UniqueTouch Posted November 7, 2005 Report Posted November 7, 2005 Ok, I have a directory on my pc with a load of mp3s. I selected them all, right-clicked and then chose "Add to Sync List". Windows Media Player then loads and starts syncing the device - all the mp3 gets copied to \Storage Card\Music (automatically in the arrangement of %Artist Name% Folder then %Album Title% Folder). Fire up WMPlayer on the sp5 and then update the library. Check MyPlaylists - empty. Have to choose All Music and play the lot or use Queue It Up feature (which doesn't remember what I chose after shutdown/restart). I can't find a way to create my own playlists for the music on my phone. Does anyone know how to do this? Also the album art shows ok ok on my pc, but only some of the tracks display them on my device! What gives?? Many thanks in advance
Guest Paul [MVP] Posted November 7, 2005 Report Posted November 7, 2005 Not sure about the album art thing (that works for me), but I don't think you can create playlists on the device. P
Guest UniqueTouch Posted November 7, 2005 Report Posted November 7, 2005 Just read that I can force album art by copying folder.jpg as album art into each folder. Not sure why I'm having to do it manually though. If I can't create playlists on the device, can I create them on my main pc and then transfer them? On the device, from the library you can select "My Playlists" so it should allow it. I have transferred my music to the device, but I want to be able to play them in specific order and only certain tracks. Frustrating...how does everyone else manage music on their device?
