Sat nav options for the Wizard

Recommended Posts

Just ordered my T-mobile Vario, switching from Orange and can't wait!

Can I just get any bluetooth GPS unit?

How can I power my mobile in the car, do I need to buy a cigarette power thingy?

Any advice on how I can attach the phone to my dash?

Lastly, what happens when I receive a call during sat nav? Don't fancy fiddling with buttons while trying to drive!

Sorry that's so many questions, but I'm sure lots of other people will want to know th e same thing when they go Wizard.

Edit: Found answers to these two questions myself:

Anyway, I want to get Sat Nav and wondered what software I can use on the Wizard? TomTom!

Will TomTom work? Or is it only the Co-pilot that T-mobile seem to offer? Yes and no

Hmm Tom Tom seems pricey, about £200. I could get one of those Acer PDAs with Destinator 3 Software and GPS built in for about £230.

Wouldn't that be better? Though a bit stupid having two devices...
