SPV c550 problem

Hi,

I've recently bought a SPV c550 smartphone from Orange. I've installed some new applications on it just today and now I can't turn it back on.

When I press the on button it begins as if it's going to start - the Windows Mobile logo appears and then it turns itself off again and then turns itself back on again. It just does this continuously. So obviously I can't make any calls etc.

If anyone can help it would be much appreciated.

Hmm a hard reset should do it but you will lose anything that was saved on the phone (photos, videos, texts, contacts saved to phone) however you do not lose anything on your miniSD or sim.

Thanks for the help. However, I did you a hard reset. Installed all my apps etc and everything was fine. I even disabled it so it could download any application.

Well I've just installed another couple of apps and it's doing exactly the same! Except this time it won't let me hard reset it.

Any suggestions or do I have a broken phone? It's only 5 weeks old.

My guess is that you are installing all that software onto the phone and using up all the memory.

When you are asked where you want to install you should use the joystick to select the storage card.

I did actually manage to hard reset it last night. Phew!

I do actually store all the apps on the phone memory so I will start using the memory card and see what happens.
