Notification alerts

i found out how to put my own ringtones onto my smt5600. but i still cant figure out to change my email alerts and text message alerts. i tried putting mp3 files onto storage/my documents but it doesnt work. plz help

They need to be wav files and the best place to store them is \Storage \Application Data \Sounds.
