One particular member has experience replacing components like the LCD and although I'm not sure if he's handled your particular model he should have general advise on replacing HTC PPC Phones screens. The member is Fluffcat1 if you want to drop him a pm...

Hello,

although I don't know this model, I've never known an LCD to be difficult to replace in a pocket PC if you have a direct drop in replacement. They only get difficult if you have to bodge it to work in any way. At most once you have the unit open they're probably be 2 connections between the board and LCD ( one for the screen, one for the digitiser) and a frame holding the LCD assembly in place to the casing that you need to remove, swop the new screen in, and re-fit the board back on. If you are unsure perhaps take digitial photos or make notes as you remove screws / connectors, then rewrite your notes backwoards or re-arrange your photos and you have your own re-assembly guide. Then type it up and post it here!

As a general rule, nothing should need major force to get it apart, if it doesn't want to budge you're either pushing / pulling in the wrong place, there a screw you can't quite see, or it wasn't meant to move....

Just take your time, be methodical, and if possible get a new casing in case you scratch up the old one during opening. A new casing will also allow you to see where the clips holding it together are.
