MPx220 with Version 1.39

I Have a MPx220 with Version 1.39 software version.. i know there is a newer update out.. but when i go to www.hellomoto.com.hk they say that the newest version is 1.39.. so my question is.. if i update the phone from uk.. what will happen? and does any one know if u can get language packs for the phone?
