Hello everyone!!!

I've got my new qtek 8300 a few days ago and i have to say that it is a excellent phone, wifi, bt, wm5... BUT, since i am programming, i like to install .NET Compact Framework 2 on my device - which should be done nicely - but i can't. I have tried doing it in two ways, getting errors from both;

- Trying to debugging from Visual Studio 2005 which should result in that the CF2 will be copied to the phone, but i can't even connect to the device. VS says something about that some shutdown-code on the device not could allocate resources.

- I have also tried to copy the install file (.cab) manually to the phone and run it from there (I've read about that it should work). Here the phone throws an error: "Installation was unsuccessful. The program or setting cannot be installed because it does not have sufficent system permissions." (I also getting this error from a setting-file downloaded from qtek's homepage).

Please help me with this problem.

Hi. Sorry you've been having difficulty installing. From what you describe, it sounds like you might be using an older (prerelease) version of the .NET Compact Framework. Try downloading the RTM version from the location below, and see if that works.
