SPV M5000 wallpaper issue

Is it just me or is there an issue with the software on the orange spv m5000? when i chose a wallpaper that is not a default one it looks faded and all the menues are difficult to see. But when i choose on that is there i.e orange or windows default, they look brilliant and the menus can be seen! also what has orange done to the today screen? do i have to have that horrid orange software on there instead? :?:

m5000 is ppcpe not smartphone ;)

Make sure your wallpaper is the exact same size as the orange wallpaper. The today screen re-sizes images to fit the screen which usually makes an image look crap. If it is the right size for the screen it should look as good as it does on ur pc.

I know what you mean here... Orange seems to install its layer over the standard "desktop" and this results in an almost watermark effect of the image you have selected for your background... I want to get rid of this and have a desktop style background... anyone know how to disable the orange menu system?

If you go into settinings and then the today option you can select what you want shown on the today screen, un-check the box that says orange, this will then wive you the standard today screen instead of the orange rubbish.

That’s strange.

I have a picture that was taken on a 7 mega pixel camera and use it on the home screen and it looks great. It’s stored on the memory card.
