Hello all,

I just bought an MPX-200, I wanted to know how do I set an mp3 file as a ringer in my phone. Do I need to download any software for this??? I've installed ActiveSync. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Abhijith

Get dbPowerAMP to do the conversion.

It is free and will also rip your CDs. Get it from Download.com ;)

Don't bother trying to convert to midi files as they sound terrible !

Of course it works - I use it all the time ;)

You can use Windows Sound Recorder (in Programs, Accessories, Entertainment on your PC) to edit the wav file and Save As... PCM format.

Hello Disco,

I had used db PowerAMP to convert an mp3 to .wav format. it plays well when done manually... I mean when I set it as ringtone and when I get a call the volume is soo low I can hear it only if I hold it close to my ear, but other ringtones already present in the phone works fine. Any help on this???

Rgds,

Abhijith
