Guest mgumbs Posted November 9, 2005 Report Posted November 9, 2005 Hi, On my SP5m files in the Windows directory, i have lots of files ending in .mui. These seem to be replica files of dll's. for example enrol.dll enrol.dll.0405.mui enrol.dll.0406.mui enrol.dll.0407.mui and so on. There are so many, its probably taking up a large slice of my memory. Is it safe to remove these .mui files? I also have strange .dsm and .rgu files also, if anyone can shed light on these too. Thanks. M

Guess its to make the phone multilanguage in certain windows apps. Files will stay on my phone then. M
Guest ronswens Posted November 9, 2005 Report Posted November 9, 2005 even more, you can't remove them
Guest Posted November 9, 2005 Report Posted November 9, 2005 Hi, MUI stands for "Multi User Interface". See what it is about at http://www.pocketnow.com/index.php?a=porta...=reviews&id=702 or google for ".mui" AND "Windows Mobile"
Guest Paul [MVP] Posted November 9, 2005 Report Posted November 9, 2005 On the plus side, it means if you could get hold of UK English MUI files, you could enable UK English on the phone! P
