Guest Cooljohng Posted November 9, 2005 Report Posted November 9, 2005 Right then... I've tried the SPV E200 application unlock patch, and put all the right bits onto my phone, ran the Disable Security patch, came up with the Disabling Security Please Wait... Security Disable Successful screen, then went off... yet i still can't install the PocketTV MPEG Viewer! It does exactly the same thing asif the phone was still software locked! Any advice? Oh, and is the Sim Unlock app floating around aswell? Anyone know where i can look? I've tried Google, but get so much useless crap... would be really great if someone could point me in the right location ;) But yeah, application unlock first! :D
Guest Disco Stu Posted November 10, 2005 Report Posted November 10, 2005 To application unlock, why not try the easy way ? http://developer.orangews.com/orgspv/SPV.aspx?U=T I assume you are in the UK. Check that you haven't downloaded the Pocket PC installer for PocketTV. It's an easy mistake ;) To SIM-unlock, have you seen this thread ? http://www.modaco.com/Remove_the_simlock_o...0_-t101980.html

Guest Disco Stu Posted November 10, 2005 Report Posted November 10, 2005 I would have thought that you would be good-to-go once you got the confirmation message on the phone screen - clearly you entered all your details on the Orange website correctly. Have you tried installing something else that is unsigned ? Why not get TCPMP and the mpeg codec as an alternative ? http://tcpmp.corecodec.org/about I may be wrong, but I have a feeling you're not the first member with this problem.
