Guest eggedd2k Posted November 10, 2005 Report Posted November 10, 2005 i picked up a 1gb for £43 from a phone shop in leicester. it's more than enough memory for me.
Guest Confucious Posted November 13, 2005 Report Posted November 13, 2005 bigger = better Apart from that you *shouldn't* have a problem. The SPV e200 had a problem with dual layer cards but I've never come across another device that has had problems with any card. Probably best to get the supplier to confirm it will work with the Universal then you can get your money back if it doesn't. I'm using an old Sandisk 1Gb card I had lying around but 4Gb ones are just starting to appear. HTH

Guest philtech44 Posted December 6, 2005 Report Posted December 6, 2005 What minimum read speed if I want to play movies and music?? is up to 5mb speed (40x) sufficient for that?
Guest Confucious Posted December 6, 2005 Report Posted December 6, 2005 Mine is single speed and I have no problems playing movies and vids. extra speed makes no difference (apart from to the price)

Guest geraintwd Posted January 31, 2006 Report Posted January 31, 2006 I use a 2GB Sandisk Ultra II SD. Got it for £75 + £2.50 p+p (Royal Mail Special Delivery) from a company called Bristol Cameras. I now have close to 900 songs on it :) Try froogle to shop around for the best price. As for manufacturer, IMO you can't go wrong with Sandisk. HTH
