Do 2Gb and 4Gb MiniSD exist?

however I can find no other reference to them on the internet. Are they telling porky pies, does anyone know this company or does anyone know the release date of these cards. And, in fact can a C500 or a C600 even read cards of this size???

...just gave them a call and they have no stock - surprise!!! They are expecting them in about 2 weeks...

...with no other web references, I am slightly sceptical for now...

MobyMemory have said that they wil have 2GB mini-SD cards in stock very soon.

They are testing them right now.

I think Paul has just got a 4GB full-size SD so the mini will be a while yet I assume.

Well, I have seen a reference to the 2Gb cards in an article with a 'one day' tone. But that was pretty much it! I have just had my ipod mini stolen, and since they seem to have withdrawn them from sale, and I am not convinced by the nano, I thought a large card might be a suitable alternative. Never been afflicated by the tssss luckily and planning to upgrade to a C600 soon after launch anyway. Oh, and I hate itunes.

Oh, yeah - I forgot about seeing them on MobyMemory. But there was a thread in September where they were advertised as appearing in one or two weeks. Hhhmmm ............

I found another site that has 2gb MiniSD listed in their product specs MICRODIA

However in the shop section at the top they show they dont even have 1gb MiniSD in stock let alone the 2GB but at least its a good sign that things shouldnt be far off.

I have a 2gig miniSD from a company called TEC. It works a treat in my new Dopod 577w. I think these are from Japan and the company that imported them didn't even have the 2gig labels, but the smartphone reads it fine. The card cost 86quid for your ref.

TEC is the manufacture of 2GB miniSD in Taiwan not import from Japan. 8)
