I Mate SP5 Upgarde on Orange

Hello,

I've just finished my contract on Orange with my C500 - it broke 2 weeks before warrenty went up!

Now I need a new phone. I was considering C600 but as there's no Wi FI it's a no go.

My question is whether anyone knows whether I can upgrade to The SP5 on Orange. This is the phone that is best I reckon but I don't want to have to move to Vodafone to get it.

Any ideas?

Anyone any other suggestions for phones on Orange??

You won't get that on Orange (well not to my knowledge anyway)

If it's wifi your after, then maybe its worth while looking into PPCPE (Pocket PC Phone Edition)

Orange offer suh phones like the m500, m2000, m5000 . . . .

To "UPGRADE" you have to go via Orange themselves generally, or a linked dealer...

And simply put the i-mate SP5 is not an Orange handset and will never be offered by Orange, as clearly, who in their right minds would go for a wi-fi less C600 on Orange if they could get a wi-fi packed SP5 on Orange instead?

OK, so no SP5 then on Orange..

Thing is I'm begining to think that if I get an m500 - if i could ever find one in stock - the new one will be out straight after - they're replacing them all with the massive M1500 eh?

The new O2 Atom looks brilliant - but don't fancy moving to O2 much!

Do I:

a. move to Vodafone and get myselft a Wi fi packed Sp5

b. wait until I can get my hands on an M500 - the idea of having a C600 without WiFi seems like a waste!

or..

c. wait for Orange to do something spectacular and actually give everyone the phone evryone wants and not the bulky M1500 - an SP5 or Atom alike would be ideal.
