ActiveSync4: Old+New Devices

I have an SPV M2000 and E200 currently, which I use with Orange Single Number. When it is released, I'm going to be movigng the E200 to a C600.

I picked up a comment about ActiveSync4 and a user having to move back to 3.8 to sync a C500.

Am I current to deduce that one cannot sync an M2000 and C600 on the same computer? This seems very odd if true.

I can sync my WM2003SE device with AS4.0 too. However, I cannot concurrently sync two devices.

All my devices (both Smartphones and Pocket PC Phone) are still Windows Mobile 2003 SE devices and sync absolutely fine with Activesync 4.
