T Mobile version on the M500 and tomtom

Hi,

I've installed my copy of TomTom 5.1 on this phone PDA without any issues. When i start the app the screen turns off. If i hit the power button it pops back on for a second then turns off again. When it pops back on i can see the apps running OK and if I'm quick i can start pressing the options.

I've tried with BT on and off and with backlight fully on.

Ideas?
