Guest nickcornaglia Posted November 13, 2005 Report Posted November 13, 2005 I have been playing with my new phone and have been playing with the colors while making a new homescreen....there is something different about 2005 devices than the older models. The Highlight in my calendar has turned WHITE. (With white text). So I cant read the item I am hovered over. The funny think is that it stays that way no matter which homescreen I switch to. I could understand if I made a mistake and picked the wrong color in my XML. But even when switching to the stock layouts and colorschemes...it does the same. Anyone know what can be wrong?

Anyone know what can be wrong? <{POST_SNAPBACK}>Don't know IF it is related or a possible explanation encece mate, but what I HAVE noticed on WM5.0 is this... Very often, when in my contacts list for example, if I browse very fast through the list, the entries I am moving over (highlighting), well, the highlight bar stays blue, but moving over entries has the net effect of making them INVISIBLE - in other words, as I move over it, the text that was black, goes BLUE so with the highlight bar being blue, this makes it invisible. Then when you move onto the next entry, the previous entry does not turn back to black text on the white background, but goes white, and thus becomes invisible... this goes on until I page to a new screen full of entries. So this colour issue is due to some kind of re-draw error, and the phone's ability to 'keep up' ??? It has done this maybe twenty times or so in the time I have had my phone now. But as I can sort it by 'slowing down', coming out, and going back in, or paging down a whole screen, I have just 'lived with it'. So I was curious when I noticed your thread... Any bearing..???
Guest nickcornaglia Posted November 13, 2005 Report Posted November 13, 2005 Thanks for the reply. Seems there's a glitch somewhere. Playing with the colors, it seems that I fixed it on my homescreen but the others are still not working. Because I dont know which one fixed it, I cant tell you the color-code until I figure out which one I changed to make it work....norrowing it down. But I can agree that there are definitely reguild problems. When I switch homescreens for example....sometimes the icon bar doesnt change to the colors of the new homescreen until I switch yet again. Strange behavior. I wonder if there is a color code I changed once...but that code is not included in other homescreens so it stays the same as previously defined? Very Strange.
