Ringtones on C550

I'd like to stick a few more ringtones on my Orange SPV C550, but I can't quite figure out where I'm meant to put them. Is there a specific folder somewhere on the phone? Also wondering if I can use mp3 as the ringtone/system events.

Welcome to the forum ;)

You can use MP3s as ringtones but not for notifications (SMS etc) - copy them into \Storage \Application Data \Sounds.

I use WMA'S as ringtones.

I find that if I put them anywhere on my storage card and then go to settings\sounds it sees them.

I use a programme to covert from mp3 to wma and drop the quality slightly (not enough to notice) to make them a bit smaller files too.

As mentioned before, if you want MP3's/WMA'S as notifications then you do have to put them in \Storage \Application Data \Sounds.
