Guest Alex_le_brit Posted November 13, 2005 Report Posted November 13, 2005 (edited) Because I always think it's worth trying I downloaded the Spectec Wifi Card drivers, which are meant for Windows Mobile 2003 SE. Now I tried them on my SPV (Canary). I put them in my "To Install" in my Start Up menu, and thought I'd try it. Logically they should have given me some form of warning about being the wrong OS, when I tried to unpack the CAB file. What actually happened was I go the usual "This CAB file has been downloaded successfully" and then it reverted back to the menu. When I looked in the "To Install" folder again I now see I've got wlan11b-fr.cab.dat wlan11b-fr.cab.xml Opening the .xml file gives a blank screen in Internet Explorer, and the .dat file gives a "no application associated" warning. I'm intrigued though because it would appear to have unpacked something, and no warning was given. Not having the card, and not being certain that a Canary even has SDIO Now, I can't go any further. But does anyone have any ideas about my results? wlan11b_fr.cab.xml Edited November 13, 2005 by Alex_le_brit
