Guest Confused Stu Posted November 13, 2005 Report Posted November 13, 2005 I've got SPB Pocket Plus 3, and SPB GPRS monitor. You can integrate the GPRS monitor today screen plug-in into the Pocket Plus one to save room on the screen - great! The only problem is that this time when I've installed them both (following yet another ROM change - I was getting bored), it's now loading the Pocket Plus before the GPRS monitor on a reset. This means the Pocket Plus is trying to access the GPRS, which isn't running yet, so resets again - which locks it into a reset cycle! Anyone know how to change the order of the start up sequence so I can tell the GPRS to start up before the Pocket Plus? Thanks guys.
Guest Confused Stu Posted November 30, 2005 Report Posted November 30, 2005 (edited) OK, didn't get any replies on this, but I have just found a topic that fixes my problem. In fact, this should fix most today screen problems (you know the ones that put your phone into an eternal soft reset loop!): SBSH Forum answer to Todayscreen problems I was dubious at first, but this DOES work, so if your todayscreen is giving you grief on your start-up, give this a shot. :) Edited November 30, 2005 by Confused Stu
Guest chucky.egg Posted November 30, 2005 Report Posted November 30, 2005 Ahhhh! Great timing there, I've been having the occassional Soft Reset loop recently but couldn't figure it out. Strangely setting the Contacts to Permanent Save (or whatever its called) fixes it too... probably because it's delaying the Today Plugins while it saves. Nice find.
