MPX200 Cannot see SD card

New MPX200 owner so bear with me ;) 1 gig SD card does not show up on mxp200 - can this model see a card that large? Some sites say 512 max some say (and sell) 1 gig. Thanks

Hmm.... this came up recently and a member pointed out that when the MPx200 was tested there was no such thing as a 1GB SD card.

Meaning that they couldn't know at the time rather than that size card wouldn't work.

Another problem might be the manufacturer. Which make of card are you using ?

I use a 1GB card with no problems. It works on both the smatphone 2002 and Windows Mobile 2003 OSes. I use a "brandless" OEM SD card (I think it is by a company called Addva?) which I bought in Singapore.

Got it working.. Thanks to another thread I found. Appreciate the reply. **Any good links for compatible s/w to load it up with now? ;)

any chance of telling me how as i cant gt one to work in the one ive just got!!!

I really just popped out and back in - reset phone and then connected via PC/cable and the card was there in explorer as unknown/un-named card0.

I was able to drag and drop files via explorer. Tony
