I have been reading up on new(ish) smartphones ready to make the decision in the new year on my upgrade. One thing that concerns me is the advice people offer about the QVGA screen being underutilised on WM2003SE - and I wanted to get some clarification:

Do you get MORE information on screen at any time with the QVGA screens, or do you get the same amount, but at a higher dpi? I went from a QVGA pocketpc to a VGA one and was very disapointed to find that the VGA device showed exactly the same amount as the QGVA, just clearer.

So - examples are: can you get more lines of text on a QVGA screen when reading email? Can you get see more detail in the calendar? That kind of thing.
