Guest Ice Rich Posted November 16, 2005 Report Posted November 16, 2005 Hello all, Ive had my c500 for awhile but havent really got far with it. Ive managed to unlock it to all networks and app. unlock it. I want to send pictures on my phone but I keep getting error mesages. Ive phoned up T-mobile (my provider) and they said they have enabled something and they would send a text with new settings in. however I never received this although there is now a "g" displayed on the screen. Please help, Thanks Rich
Guest martin Posted November 16, 2005 Report Posted November 16, 2005 The G means that T-mobile have activated GPRS. You now need to setup Internet, WAP and MMS on your phone Smartphone setup instructions http://www.modaco.com/index.php?act=ST&f=138&t=201047&st=0 T-mobile data http://www.modaco.com/index.php?showtopic=200961
Guest Pondrew Posted November 17, 2005 Report Posted November 17, 2005 @martin, dude, you deserve a medal for all the time and effort you put in helping everyone here with their technical/setup problems
Guest Ice Rich Posted November 17, 2005 Report Posted November 17, 2005 Thanks for reply martin, Ive only enterd data for t-mobil mms (as I dont use mobile internet) but the option "Mmsc Address" is not in my options, the last field is "IP address" Thanks Rich
Guest Pondrew Posted November 17, 2005 Report Posted November 17, 2005 Ice Rich, as well as going to Start / Settings / Data Connections / / Edit Connections / GPRS Connections and entering the settings there you will also need to goto (from the home screen): Start / Messaging / Media Messages / / Options / Account Setup / Media Messages / / Edit Connections / select your MMS network and enter the MMSC address, IP address and Port there. Let us know if you have any trouble (and I hope the above made sense  )
