c550 & o2 mms

Hi all,

This is my first smart phone and i haven't a clue what i am doing and where to enter details to get o2 mms and gprs working on my spv c550.

I have searched over the forum and found various guides but not to sure where to enter details ect.....

I followed the guide to unlock the c550 which i bought from Orange but im using a o2 contract sim in it now but with no mms :)

Think i might have to go back to Nokia if i don't figure it out :??:

Moving back to Nokia, there are better options such as injecting yourself with bird flu or.... ...using the guide below

Still no luck with sending or receving mms :)

Just put an Orange sim card in the phone and it does the same thing no network coverage , but i have the G symbol up on the screen and when i press send then another g symbol appears by the signal strength.

I'm sending mms from a k750i with the orange and o2 sim with no problems, taking this c550 back now for a refund , i've had enough of it :)

I did solve it in the end for o2 mms ect...

I used this file and then go into start>more>more>configurations>mms settings>menu>mmsc settings then edit o2 mmsc name to o2 mms and it all worked fine for me then.... :)

That's the i-mate cab file, and by the sound of what you are saying, you had the issue of an UPPERCASE letter O that I discovered and have mentioned on here in relation to the i-mate sp5.

But I am not sure it's still ok to post the cab here, as I think it's copyright i-mate?

Mods will tell for sure though.
