SPVM5000 / Bt15 GPS Rx / TT 5.1

Has anybody managed to get a spv m5000 connected with BT15 gps reciever. i have got TT 5.1 up and running after following the detailed descprition in another post, however when it comes to changing the com port , it does not seem to work. 'Com port cannot be created' and when i view tt gps setting com 6 is set as RIL on COM6 :

Any advise would be appreciated

you can use any com port you like - doesnt have to be a specific port number
