SmartphoneNotes v PhatNotes

Hi,

Does anyone use a note application on their smartphone. I was thinking of either Smartphone Notes or Phat Notes. Is one better than the other?

I would suggest trying both. Both should have a trail period. I use SmartphoneNotes 2.0 all the time. I attempted to try PhatNotes before I bought SmartphoneNotes, but was never able to successfully sync with my phone.

I have tried the PhatNotes trail and I have Smartnotes 1. What I should have asked was, is Smartnotes 2 better than Phatnotes as I have not been able to download a trial of Smartnotes 2.

According to Handango and the Smartnotes people, Smartnotes 2 will not sync with Orange phones, so I have not upgraded yet. If Phatnotes had been better I may have just gone for that rather than wait for Smartnotes 2 to be fixed.

I suggest Smartphones Notes 2.0.

I saw that they were having issues with getting SmartphoneNotes 2 working on Orange, but I would expect them to get that fixed eventually. I had v1 which worked well but I always wanted the ability to set categories. I never was able to try PhatNotes so I really can't compare.

I just remembered the biggest downside of PhatNotes, it doesn't let you keep the notes database on your storage card. That is a bit of a problem if you have a lot of notes. SmartphoneNotes lets you keep the notes on your storage card.
