Guest roma0803 Posted November 16, 2005 Report Posted November 16, 2005 Hi, Does mobile blogging software excist for the Windows Smartphone platform? I know of PicoBlogger but for Windows it's less developed than for the S60 platform and only works with PicoStation. Is there an alternative that lets you post on your own weblog like WordPress? TIA
Guest nickcornaglia Posted November 21, 2005 Report Posted November 21, 2005 Splashblog is pretty cool. It has a mobile client that uploads/downloads from your handheld. The Palm version has a client that will post to typepad or blogger but I am told that is coming soon for the Smartphone. It does allow you to mirror thumbnails on any webpage which is cool enough for me until the direct posting is implemented. The program also lets you sync friends moblogs to your phone as well. That said...text america, flicker and probably others will let you post via email. Same features minus the handheld client. It's all a matter of preference I guess because you can always view/sync your friends moblogs via RSS on any of these services.
Guest roma0803 Posted November 21, 2005 Report Posted November 21, 2005 Thanks for your reply encece. I will take a look at Splashblog. I see it's a SplashData product, like SplashID I use since ancient history :)
