Guest Noo Posted November 17, 2005 Report Posted November 17, 2005 Has anybody tried the Minimo web browser from Mozilla yet? Any experiences, thoughts, opnions? Apparently (taken from the FAQ section): What's the difference between Minimo and Firefox? Minimo is a small version of Firefox with many of the same features offered. Is Minimo a better option than Pocket Internet Explorer? Yes, Minimo and all other Mozilla-based products are more secure and offer more features. Minimo is a full featured web browser that supports Google Maps, SSL/PSM, Spatial Navigation, full screen, and tabs with more to come!
Guest Phil Lee Posted November 17, 2005 Report Posted November 17, 2005 Installed v0.010 and that runs albeit it takes a long time to start. It seems to be a bit crash happy too plus it takes up 12Mb. I've decided to uninstall it for the moment.
Guest Noo Posted November 17, 2005 Report Posted November 17, 2005 Have done exactly the same since first creating the thread. Not worth using yet, still looks very "rough around the edges".
Guest DeanoSMB Posted November 24, 2005 Report Posted November 24, 2005 Tried it - didn't work. Not one for now I suspect.
