Just got my new C550 on OVP Virgin upgrade

Just got my new phone and it was the music edition with a 512 mini SD card :)

I have a few questions.

1. I have a card reader that reads SD cards - will it read the mini sd card or do I need an adaptor?

2. What does application unlocking do for me? Is it something I would want?

3. Are the app unlock and sim unlock easy to do? I did have a read through the posts - some mentioned it being really easy and some seemed to have problems.

I've got a C550 too - great phone :D

1. I think you should have got an adapter with the mini SD card.

2. Application unlocking is often needed to run unsigned applications and to allow certain customisations of the phone. The C550 can be unlocked from http://developer.orangews.com/orgspv/comdefq.aspx

3. The C550 can be SIM unlocked fairly easily :)

The mini sd card was in the phone already. I don't see any sign of an adaptor.
