Guest mooman Posted November 18, 2005 Report Posted November 18, 2005 (edited) I'm having a problem getting online on my SMT5600. It worked fine on WM2003, but since I upgraded to WM5, it always says that the network connection was not found. If I plug in a USB cable, it connects through that fine. I used the guides on this site to set up the GPRS and Proxy settings, but there's one part which I can't do: 5) On the Data Connections screen change the following to: Internet Connection: GPRS (Cingular WAP) Work Connection: Automatic WAP Connection: GPRS (Cingular WAP) Secure WAP connection: Automatic There's no Data Connections screen on WM5. How do I choose the internet connection for WM5? Edited November 18, 2005 by mooman
Guest martin Posted November 18, 2005 Report Posted November 18, 2005 From memory you need to select 'Advanced settings' from the menu after you have created the GPRS/PROXY connections.

Guest martin Posted December 4, 2005 Report Posted December 4, 2005 When you are in the Connections screen with Beam, Bluetooth, Dial-up, GPRS, Proxy and VPN, the left soft key should be 'Done' and the right soft key should be 'Menu'. If you press the right soft key for menu then you should get an 'Advanced' option to take you to the Data Connections.
