How to turn off the ' mode on M500?

I remember seein the answer to this ages ago but cant find it now!!

When i txt and put somthin like "its" it auto puts it as "it's" and makes it so u can now only have 72 characters instead od 300 or whatever it is!?

Anyone know what i mean and how to turn that off

you have to untick the "send as unicode" option in the message options menu of the phone.

Just start a new message, then go into options, and untick the box. You only need to do it once for all.
