xBar 3 is available in beta version !

The xBar new version is out, this version is beta but she working on SPV C600...

For use this date limited version (expire 12-31-2005), you need have a new serial number. The xbar 2 serial number isn't the same for this lastest version, if you have bought xBar 2 after the 1 november, the xbar 3 serial number is free...

I love to try this version and 6 €uro's doesn't seem to much for all that functionality, both links to cab and AS downloads seem dead though ;)

Looks good, the new version. Little font issue and not all tasks show or can be killed I think. Gonna play with it a little more :)

I don't use a Smartphone much these days having jumped to the Pocket PC Phone platform but Xbar used to be an essential install on my SPV E200. For those who don't know it introduces both copy + paste functionality and the kind of task manager ctrl+alt+del on a desktop provides. This along with the extra info you can see displayed in the screenshot above. Highly recommended.

Seems to work just as fine as the previous with the same... erh... issues? Characters in app names are still cut off a bit and OS Task Manager can't be killed by xBar's Task Manager. Call History can be killed now :)

Nothing strange to report so far. I like the red 3 a lot :D

Edit:

If Start (Menu) is killed bt xBar it can not be opened again. A soft reset is needed. This is not good ;)

i only worked on for non orange phone, so today, i don't need any signature for xbar :D

i have to add "Start" or appman.exe in the HIDEAPP / cfg.ini file.

i will work on the QVGA skin (cutted char) and the icon time.

You best install the version from the xBar site first. This way all necessary files and registry settings are installed. Than you can put both the exe and the ini file from the above post in the installation directory overwriting the old ones.
