two things! Orange and o2

Ok so ported my number over from Orange to o2 this week and everything works apart from Text messages! o2 say a problem with the port over from Orange is currently effecting all Orange customers who ported in the last week!!! No time table for a fix, all people you phone say different things! I want better from 02!

Any how number 2 - when doing a corporate install the o2 rom romoves the battery icons - under Extended Rom/Signed_UNI_Remove_BatteryIcon.sa.CAB

Now I can get at the file via Total Commander can I just delete it soft restart and my battery in the system tray comes back???

Any help on either please!
