Help BT activesync for C550 !

hello all,

i am kinda new here.. this site helped me alot.. for nearlly all my problems..

but now after hours and hours of search i cant solve my active sync problem... soo i thought ill ask you guys..

ok i got windows XP SP2, lastest firmware c550 and mobile-studio bluetooth dongle.(www.mobile-studio.co.uk)

when i try to activesync my fone with pc it doenst do anything.. i can pair my devices togahter, send a file from my pc to phone using the SP2 bluetooth software but i cant use active sync 4 or 3.8.. it wont do anything..

i get this error when i try to connect to my pc .. " error : cannot connect to pc,

close other programs that may be using the connection and try again."

i paired the device by sending a request from fone and pc.

i have tried changing the drivers (to original(cd)) but still no affect i get the same damn msg.

i had normal windows xp without SP and i was using the BT software which came with the bluetooth dongle and it was fine i had no problems connecting it.. but on SP2 i cant do it..

if you guys can help that would be great..

if i have miss any information which is important to solve this problem ask me for it ..

could u give me ur answers in steps..

try using the original software from the usb dongle and see what happens.

usually it should pick up the device (talking about from the XP SP2 bluetooth software) but making sure that the bluetooth on the phone setting is set to "discoverable"

oO sorry forgot to mention this..

when i try to install the original software, it installs but when i try to run it, it conflicts with the SP2 . and i get this error saying licence is not found.

SP2 software detects my fone .. it can pair aswell but when i try to active sync it fromt he fone it deosnt doenst work...

is there way i could uninstall SP2 BT software and install my original 1?
