o2 gprs problem with mda compact

hi everyone, this is my first post, i need help!!!!

i got the t-mobile mda compact, with what i thought were the right o2 gprs settings but apparently not. the mda connects to gprs but when i try to go to a site it ALWAYS says the page was not found. can anyone help me please???

I am having the same problem and its winding me up a treat coz I can normally sort this kind of thing.

So if anyone has any idea how to set the GPRS up properly would be much appriciated as the peeps in the O2 shop have no idea

I know this is an old post...dunno if you have sorted it yet ,hope this helps you..or helps anyone else ;) ..

goto start,settings,connections,connections.

under My ISP tap manage existing conns and remove any connections.tap ok and then Add a new modem connection.select cellular line(gprs) tap next, enter mobile.o2.co.uk as APN.tap next,type O2 web as user and 'password' as password.tap advanced then servers,check 'use specific server addy' box and enter 193.113.200.200 in DNS and 193.113.200.201 in alt DNS.tap ok/finish etc,soft reset phone (dont know if this is required) and all should be well :D

Hi,

Never messed with GPRS before but I have just unlocked my t-mobile mda compact. I am trying to get gprs through a O2 payg sim.

I do - start, settings, connections, advanced, select networks, my isp - edit

and have the details as you posted.

When i try to connect i get the following error:

Cannot Connect

Dialed:mobile.co.uk

No modem at the above number. To check your connection settings and change them if needed, tap Settings.

Any suggestions appreciated,
