Where or what root do i put it on? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> u can use a program called RJV tonesetter(google it) that allowes u 2 use any folder 2 put ur ringtines, sms sounds etc in! check it out!
Guest RazbojNick Posted November 21, 2005 Report Posted November 21, 2005 Also, try creating My Documents folder on the card and put your ringtones in it. Phone should find them, and you do not need to use RJ ToneSetter...

Doesn't hurt to try, tho. Also, RJToneSetter does indeed allow you to choose .mp3 files as a ringtone (which is, well, impossible without the program), but, in my case, it never worked. Everything is set as it should be, but no sound at all. And to mention that the phone doesn't ring when you remove SD from the slot, if that's where your melodies were. Logical. Will try Soyale's prg, but from what I see, it's not vey easy to use, especially on phone...
